Quick 'gif' question

Cos there's noone in T&T. I wanna save an animated gif. When I click right and 'save picture as..' which is the only save option, it only gives the option to save as a .bmp. How could I save it as a gif so that's it still animated?

If it's a gif you should be able to save it as a gif. Try going to properties and going to the image.
http://www.google.ca/intl/en_ca/images/logo.gif
then save as and you should have a gif option..

Never had any bug like this with IE, in fact IE manages file extentions better then firefox.
I still use firefox.

you can also try adding .gif at the end under bmp format it might work..

Is there a program that handles gifs where I can save the url complete with .gif extension direct from the net?

True. It was around the that I was having the "save as bmp" issue that I switched to firefox, so I never found a solution to it in IE.

I used to have that problem back in Windows 98 days .. didn't know IE was still plagued by it =/
