Code3arena down?

Anyone know if it's down for good?

I learnt a lot from there, it would be a shame to see another great quake 3 progrmaming resource site go down ( the other was quakesrc.org ).

I get worried about this place too, with that message that comes up saying max users exceeded by a certain user from time to time.

Any other incredibly useful sites related to quake3 coding (past, present or even future?).

Yea, its probably gone for good. IGN are closing all planet* hosting soon.

This weekend they sent out a mail to hosted sites that said php was being taken offline early because it was being exploited. I guess c3a relied on this.

Zachary Slater posted this to the ioquake3 mailing list:
A while back someone requested that I mirror code3arena before it goes down.

Unfortunately, after checking, I've found that the mirror I made was inadequate and now the site has gone down.

It would be a tremendous help if someone were to take the information on:
http://web.archive.org/web/200801220706 ... mespy.com/

and repurpose it for ioquake3 on
http://wiki.ioquake3.org
I'm happy to provide whatever support I can.

I found some buried information:
http://old.mrhide.fr/code3arena/tutorial2.htm

Going to the index and main page doesn't work, but we can go selecting some points from the index list.

Looks down :(

But we can use wayback machine:

It's sad that there are useful content getting erased and sometimes is hard to find.
