its rare that a read.me gives me a chuckle.

The producers of the Live for Speed racing simulator make every effort
to ensure the program is safe but can not accept any responsibility
whatsoever for personal injury or death that may arise during the use
of the software

Oh, the first HL2 TC out is a realistic, modern day, anti-terrorist tactical shooter. Whoa, I never saw that coming.

Psychonauts looks interesting though, and perhaps I should try that Paria demo...

Anyone tried the Project Snowblind demo? It's supposed to be the spiritual sequel to Deus Ex. Also, Rengoku looks interesting.

For the record, I love reefsurfer's threads :icon14:

Looks like a realistic, WW2 tactical shooter to me. Either way, it's a neglected genre, I feel... :icon26:

man i hate steam. it uses the .NET framework and eats gobs of memory and if i've been playing a game and quit back to the desktop sometimes it takes forever thinking about something...

Cheers mate.
Yea what i heard was that snowblind started as an expansion
pack for Deus ex, but the puplisher saw that it could stand on it's own legs so they made an entirly new game.

What i've heard online from players is that both an retail and a downloaded version will be available, and i belive as long as Valve got a contract with Sierra/Vivendi universal games they have to release it for retail aswell... but if they dont have a contract for an expansion/sequal.. then they can release it through steam only.
