This is going to get ugly.

I doubt it.
I must admit that this is some pretty damning evidence of her being a conniving, self serving, manipulative opportunist, but I'm afraid the numb nutted Obama campaign will fail to captitalize even on this.
It will just get spun into her showing strong leadership by being ruthless, and bringing well needed change to a dysfunctional political establishment.

The problem is most Americans will read that article and say "good, she hires friends screws her foes! GO AMERICA!"

the polar bears and creationism bit scares me, to be honest. I think most of the people here will agree that the current administration has turned a dangerously blind eye on ecology, much less technological advancement and innovation. The shut down of the Superconducting Super Collider Laboratory is a perfect example.

I think so. They're both based on the narcissistic sense of being the "center-of-the-universe" but you don't need religion to be greedy.

I don't think the church or religious zealotry has much to do with the current collapse of the markets...however some might see it as the beginning of Armageddon.

I guess I meant I don't see many 'churches' that aren't full of unfettered greed. At least all the ones on TV with the huge crowds. I guess, to be fair, there are small ones here and there that are pretty monastic in their views.

Well...also to be fair the "christian" religion in your country is quite unique regarding its monetary influence on community events.

In America the greedy, whom we all know to be faking their belief, turned religion into a business. And like any other business, wants to stay in business and therefore uses lobbyists like crazy.
