on my mac. There's still loads of servers running. Completely forgotten how to edit a .cfg file and install mods etc.

Also playing with a trackpad sucks.

could never get into it on my mac. something just felt wrong with it.

i've got it installed on my linux box again (i burnt my old quake3 dir to a cd ages ago, so "installing" was trivial), but the mouse is still off for some reason. even with smoothing on, it's jumping all over the place.

I'm tempted to reinstall onto my new laptop, but I can't be arsed to install the patches, mods, maps, fuck with a cfg file and all that shit. So I guess I'll just wait for the Quake Live and hope it's not shit.

I need a mouse for my laptop if I'm gonna play Quake 3 soon. Is there not a wireless mouse thats worth a shit?

i have the ms wireless explorer 2.0 and i just don't like the feel of it in my hand. also, the left/right click feels cheap as fuck.

What I'm mainly concerned about is the lag time because of the wirelessness. Is that ever a problem?

i just wish there were more maps i enjoyed. i basically play threewave's 'courtyard conundrum' over and over and over again, because it's so awesome

planning on re-installing with a smooth team arena finish some time soon, as well

no, that's not an issue at all with this mouse.

Cool. I plan on using a wireless for my gaming and always wondered if lag was an issue with wireless mice...

i hear it's not an issue at all with the bluetooth joints.

I still play RA3, and yeah it's a blast on the 4 active european servers! Whoot!

Yea, I think the only times I've NOT had q3 installed was when my machine has crashed or something.

Haven't played in quite a while though.

Lots of people used either "i was drunk" or "I hate that map" as excuses it seems.
