Even though it is mercifully unlikely, I hope Obama does not bow to the pressure and pick Hillary as VP. Sadly, it seems he already cracked when it comes to the flag lapel pin.

I couldn't agree more. There are several republican strategists who aren't as confident as you, but this country is still prone to fearmongering and shit like "hey where is your flag pin (made in China) you unpatriotic muslim whose Christian pastor flew the planes into the world trade center and who wants to bring Hitler back from the dead to appease him like you want to appease the terrorists" to the point that McCain probably will win. Bush has taken the US to a new precident. It is beyond the ability of Americans to stand up for ourselves and others. Bush did a prison "punk" job on us and whoever gets into office is gonna say "I can't fix this" and be secretly glad they can't. Now it'll be their turn to put it in. Obama's a shady-assed crook, and McCain is a power monger.
