Set up a HTTP bouncer on your home PC. This is where you can open your PC in a web browser, and have it fetch any page for you.

It's a HTTP (web) server that you run on your home PC. Then from School, you connect to your home pc, and it fetches the pages for you.
That way, the schools censoring fails because you're always pointing at your home PC and not the sites directly.

Not even a program, you can do it through a browser.
You just need a front page on your home PC where you can enter an address 'www.google.com' into a form field, hit 'go' and it opens the page.

Until they block his PC after they notice gigs of info coming from that IP :icon32:
Edit: Then again, if it's a High School we're talking about, probably not.

Yeah I know, that's the one flaw.
Also, I was 50/50 on whether to post this at all. Filtering is there for a good reason and if you get caught circumventing it.. well.. your tough fucking luck, innit?

I think people who are smart enough to get around that bullshit should get a gold star. It's the morons of the world (and god how many there are) that need "protected" from the big bad internet...

You know, that's how it should work, but I've got dynamic and I've had the same IP for years. I don't understand that...

SA comes to mind. My work filter blocks all pictures on that domain, but the text comes through. It's like sexing a block of wood
