I didn't even know there was one in the works until the banner ad showed up. How is this one related to the last Hulk? Or are they completely unrelated movies? The last one sucked. I wonder if they addressed that.

Pretty unrelated, but they could be. This one seems to pick up roughly where the last one left off in the Hulk story, with him being in South America doing his best to avoid getting pissed off and just being a doctor for poor villagers.

It's going to be better than Iron Man. No question. Even though he looks a bit naff in the previews, Iron Man's CG was pretty obvious too, so it doesn't bug me. This movie is going to be fucking awesome.

I think they are trying to forget that there was a first one but sort of continue with the fact that he's already the Hulk and he's on the run.

Why does the Hulk get a second chance?

Why not Daredevil?

Why did the Fantastic Four get a second chance after that abortion the first movie was came out?

Daredevil was, by no means a great movie, but I didn't fall asleep during it like I did the first Hulk movie.

The Hulk gets a second chance because they're going to make an Avengers movie.

Daredevil no second chance because that's a fucking stupid super hero by default.

That's what I was thinking. Ed Norton brings a level of watchability to any role he does so I'm hoping this is decent.

still looked like a big cartoon hulk running around in a live action film, a la Roger Rabbit. unless it gets crazy reviews i'm gonna wait for dvd on this one.

I like Ed Norton, but I just can't imagine this film being all that great...

Iron Man was awesome, and it shows this new way of them making movies works.

Hulk looks great, and the fact Norton is behind it in a big way really fills me with hope.

cgi metal looks better than cgi skin.

Daredevil will never translate properly to screen since he's basically just a normal guy and people don't find that all that cool. Sure he has powers but they aren't offensive and as such don't lend themselves well to LOLSPECIALFX. Punisher sucked for the same reason and I imagine Captain America may suck as well.

Wait, which Punisher do you mean?
The original 1989 Dolph Lundgren one or the Thomas Jane one from 2004?
Both were pretty awful, and the Jane one featured a particularly anaemic Castle while completely botching the origin story.

I'd love to see someone do a proper Punisher movie following the stories from the Punisher Max series written by Garth Ennis.
Sadly, there's no way such a movie would get anything other than a R rating, so I'm guessing Marvel Studios would be reluctant to fund such a movie.
