Yea, I joined the server and it wanted me to download the map that's playing. So I go through a few 100kb files easily, then an 8 meg file pops up and for some reason I'm only being fed half the speed my d/l speed should be going. Fuck that

I like CA cause I can sometimes get a half decent score spamming rails and rockets with my ~250 ping ^^

Yep, I prefer OSP CTF over any other game mode when I'm playing local servers.

I've found most people hate CA becuase it forces equality. One can't take advantage of a map and hide behind powerups.
Guess it all comes down to what you want out of the game. YOu want to relax a bit and have some fun, CA is great. You want to think hard and strategize, play ffa or tourney.

Also, it's pretty cool how QUICKLY some people can manage to move around in CA using rocket jumps. CA does require some skill, though you remove a great chunk of the strategic element by removing map control. And, of course, your aim has to be good.

CA is pretty cool, spamming isnt that much of a prob if you play quality players. i do agree with juggernaut tho that it's all about tourney :icon14:
