Quake3World

Hey.
I've recently got the full quake, and I'm amazed by all the new maps, especially the ones that are custom made. So, I've been trying to ask and looking around for help/advice and the required tools to create my own maps, and character models. I'd also like to be able to learn how to modify my UI and weapons. I looked around here, but most of the links I found here are either defunct or not clear enough for me. Thanks everyone!

What game are talking about - q3 or q4?

If you want to make your own maps, grab the radiant map editor here and search for tutorials that describe how to make your first room using it.

Making your own player models is a different thing, radiant won't help here.

To make your own mod, you'll need some coding skills.
