Need help with Q3Map2Toolz

Feeling a bit noobish (It's been a while since I packaged up a map). I'm having issues ...
1) I can't seem to work out why I can't compile my map using Q3Map2Toolz and yet I can compile it ok in GtKRadient and I can compile the .aas from the command line ok.
2) I'm sure the map-packer used to pack all the textures and shaders I used, but it isn't doing it now ... any ideas why this is ??

First, I'd say check to make sure that the path to q3map2 is correct.

I've got the same problem as you regarding shaders/textures. Forcing me not to be lazy. God damnit!

That link is a thread where HrO talks about the shader/texture problem. I havent gone thru the whole thread to see if there is an answer in there, but that isn't my job. You need the answer, go look at it and see :P

That's not the solution for the problem at all. As a matter of fact, it's probably best to... oh, look something shiny...!

heh, that's probably true.... Felt a right numpty when I realised that not only did I have Emp's Map-Packer pointing to the .bsp but I also had the Q3Map2Toolz pointing to it too.
Helps to point them both at the .map file in general I've found he says pointing out the obvious so no-one else feels too ashamed to ask..... wanders off to take a gander at the new shiny thing obsidian has found... ooooo shiny.. very shiny.

Hi, I added mapacker back then for ease of betatesting. It's best to not use it for final maps. There are too many downsides to it, it copies whole *.shader files instead of the individual shaders, and the above mentioned problem with models.

W00t! Hr.O, glad to see you still breathing
Long time no see. And I must admit, the map packer in the toolz works pretty good for me so I don't find myself having thus listed problems as mentioned above *cough* *cough* .
At any rate, Happy Thanksgiving!
Oh and Happy Thanksgiving to teh Tards too!
Mmm, ham and turkey.
