Anybody watch this show? It's fun watching him saving businesses and seeing how dilapidated the facilities are. Host can be more than a little un-smooth though.

The UK show is great. The american version is shitty.

Well, that covers about...all of American network TV. Except Family Guy.

Don't get sassy with me NS.

Oh yeah, funny moment from the weekend. My GF says to me "some guy on the xbox just messaged me and called me a fagot."

That was you.

Is this the one with Gordon Ramsey? In that case, good stuff.

Funny, Hells Kitchen USA with Gordon Ramsay is on TV right now. Ramsay is better imo than Marco Pierre White who was on the UK Hells Ktchen a few weeks ago.

you kidding? with the possible exception of comedy, UK TV sucks megadicks right now. US dramas are waay better. you have deadwood and dexter and even lost ffs. the best we can manage is fucking 'spooks' (that's 'MI5' to you), which is just '24' with a tighter budget and added liberal handwringing

That's it? 2 american dramas and that makes UK TV crap? You don't half talk some shit sometimes.

aye. i saw the end of some detective/medical/gritty city drama the other day with that cunt from the phonebook ads - one of the heroes was explaining to a bereaved husband that the snotty cold his wife had just before the end was actually leakage from water on the brain. she'd been murdered with science drugs by someone who secretly knew of her condition. the hero doctorcop bit his wobbling lip and nodded gravely as the husband began to cry.

they were presenting it as if it was intelligent, brave and mould-breaking television to be making. i don't see how putting out the exact same cookie cutter shite they have in america but with ugly people talking pseudoscience in ugly places is brave. if i ever have to watch regular television drama, i'd rather watch a couple of foreign bimbos with good teeth and superpowers arguing around a pool in the sunshine than those miserable bastards dulling it up any day.

I mostly watch TV for documentaries, some current affairs programmes, and biography programmes. I also like some of the reality TV shows now and then, some of the comedy shows, just a bit of everything. There's more than enough channels to choose from, yet not enough time to watch tv to the point that I'd get upset if a few drama series weren't up to par with the americans.

Yeah, I was referring to major network TV shows. Almost all shit, IMO.
