That's the selling point for their shitty games, are they trying to shoot themselves in the foot?

AoD was just plain awful. Got it for free w/ my sound card. Played for 30 minutes and uninstalled. Horrible, horrible game. PoP is the new TombRaider.

Same with me - I got it with my R9800Pro - installed it, played for half an hour and uninstalled it.

Not really overly impressed. I mean the model is great and all, but I guess for some reason I expected more. Her hair, ponytail and legs look low poly, and I think her face is a bit too cartoony. Then again, it depends on when they aim on releasing it. but for the next-gen Croft, I was expecting more...

Plus: AOD was ridiculous.

She has Popeye calves. Look at them, they are basically the same size as her thighs.

That's funny, I thought that the only thing to do in Tomb Raider was get Lara to step off a platform and go "unf".

FAKK2 owns the crap out of every Tomb Raider game ever.

So this is all the XBOX2 and PS3 can handle? Count me out.

Console upgrades are just for graphics. They've got 5.1, HD-out, broadband play, and all that shit already. XBOX2 and PS3 are just graphics upgrades and they're giving us something that looks like FMV models from old PlayStation game.

Why are they so afraid to use a realistic style? Changing the look of a series doesn't always hurt it. DOOM 64 is the most beautiful DOOM game, for example. The worst that could happen is for it to flop like the digitized Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game. Mortal Kombat for example went 3D with Mortal Kombat 4, and though the series was already on the rocks because of the idiocy of making "ULTIMATE" MK3, a game so "ULTIMATE" that the original MK3 was better in everyone's books... Anyway, when it changed it's looks to 3D it didn't catch on at first but when MK5 came, holy shit everyone loved it.

I was impressed with the last round of James Bond games that used actual actors. The same goes for Onimusha 3, although using something like five actual people and the rest are generic CG looking ninjas is still trash.

Just take Ms. Lohan and digitize her and upgrade her to look as she will when she's 25. That's about the age I put Lara around, not too old, but certainly not a teenager. I know her backstory is that she's the daughter of some rich fuck, but I don't buy that a 17 year old would be doing Dr. Henry Jones Jr. type shit.

Also: Idiot game developers, go outside. Women aren't required to wear these sort of clothes to be hot. The magic in sexuality and beauty is not seeing the tit, but wanting to see the tit.
