windows task manager, what are these Processes?

i had a program a couple of years ago, almost sure i found the link here at q3w which explains what the processes do in task manager, i have a few which im not sure about and i want to delete a couple, but i also want to make sure i dont fuck my machine over.
any one know of a program which will tell me what the processes do and what/which program they are for?
