Quake3World

I installed Quake lll Rocket Arena but when i want to play i press on the shortlink on my desktop named 'RA3', when i click on it it says: Can't find file Quake3.exe
Please help me, i so wanna play quake 3, thanks for your help.

Quake 3 rocket arena is an addon for quake 3 and not a full game. Have you also installed quake 3 from the retail CD?

im sorry, i installed quake III arena, not rocket arena

You need to find out where you installed the game on your hard drive. By default it's in c:\program files\quake iii arena\

Go into that folder and find quake3.exe and run it to start the game.

if it's not there, search your entire hard drive for a file called 'pak0.pk3'.

if that file isn't there, you don't have quake 3 installed.

I dind found quake3.exe but i did found pak0.pk3

Then you do not have a full copy of Q3 installed. You'll need to re-install from the retail CD.

i already re-installed a couple of times

Then what you have is not a full copy of Q3.

no pak0.pk3 = not full quake 3.
