Yeah, is there a command line to disable the taunt from the player not the bots?
Cause there some players that everytime they die, do the taunt sound...

Short answer: no.

cg_notaunt 1 disables all taunts but I understand that that isn't what you are looking for.

Well that's too bad, cause it's pretty annoying sometime when there a few guys that use that everytime they die...

When possible, shoot/guantlet their dead corpse. That'll teach them!

Go into your pak0.pk3 (in your baseq3 folder) and extract out "sound/misc/silence.wav", and put the silence.wav in a folder path of sound/player/sarge, and rename the "silence.wav" to "taunt.wav". Then drag sound/player/sarge/taunt.wav into a new .pk3 that you've made with your Winzip. Put that .pk3 in your baseq3 folder. Make sure that you name the .pk3 a name that comes after pak8.....z-taunt.pk3 or something or other. Sarge's taunt will have disappeared. Re-Do that same process for every in-game charachter and add them all to that same .pk3 file you made.

won't that get you booted from pure servers tho?

It has never caused any problems with me, though I've never played on many servers running punkbuster..as I don't care if someone has a bot or not<shrug>. I've never used the sounds for taunts though(except for the hellchick taunt I use for crash), I usually use .wav's to replace weapon sounds(or other things) or I replace skins, like I have the nude hunter skin(nine) to replace Hunter's skin. It's the same thing either or.
Maybe I just plop in sv_pure "0" servers...I'm not sure I guess you'll have to try it and see.
