I got an Audi A4 with dark dark dark blue metallic, called magic blue and therefore it looks black.. if you look really close and when the sun shines on it you can see that its blue... but barely.

Anyway, my question is.. thoughts on black rims?
I got 5 spoke rims in silver right now.

Havent taken any pics of it, but here is an identical audi, except for the rims:

Gold rims would look better on that than black.

Black if you also tint the windows heavily.

black wheels are hot

Although my rims dont exactly look like these, this is what i was thinking of doing, paint the spokes and keep the outer line in silvet/chrome.

I dont know what its called in english, but i have 3-4 cm in on the rim before the spokes start.. so i have this "space/line" around the entire rim.. kinda like the one showing below.. and my spokes are thicker than those five.






ps. trying to find similar rims.

For some reason his car looks a lot sexier than the first pic, but yeah, black rims do make a huge diff.

Because mine is a 98, his is a 05 or later.

The older ones look good aswell.

i'm merely pointing out black wheels on a similar bodied black car. unless you're a retard, you can figure his will look good.

I like black wheels on the right car as long as they are quality wheels and not some POS flat finish 16s. On your car i would probably go with chrome over black. At least get a polished lip if you go black.

not necessary, imo. a quality black wheel (like a nice 5 or 6 spoke) looks awesome. i actually prefer that over a polished lip.

Fully agreed, lip looks weird on a blacked out car.

Having a bitch of a time finding a 17 with the bolt pattern for my car all of em have shiney ass lips

be a man, Buy them and take them to a local paintshop and get them sprayed..

It's called 'deepdish' when the spokes are set in from the outer rim. iIt can look really good or really shite but it up to u.
