lol, I just emailed my friends 5 minutes ago to see if they wanted to go. I was looking on fandango, and just happened to notice it started Monday night out of pure coincidence.

Was it originaly going to come out on Friday?
I guess they couldn't compete with Die Hard.

I still think left over movie goers on friday should still outnumber any traffic there might be on a monday of all days....maybe they should have waited for wednesday or even next week? I am not sure what the implications are of prolonging a movie for a week.

Unless you've got one sick home theater setup, nothing compares to a real theater. I'll glady pay/wait for my first impression to be on a 30 foot screen backed up by 10,000 watts.

I saw Die Hard 4 this week, enjoyed it immensly, by far better then 2 and 3. Might even consider it to be better then the original.
Looking forward to seeing this one too!

Director Michael Bay never met a rhetorical apocalypse he didn't love. Dude could film a round of Jenga with greater shock and awe than the collapse of the World Trade Center.
