Not at ALL the same thing. Little Jason is nowhere near the drummer that Bonzo was.

True. But he's no slouch either...

Yep, I have the same DVD. By far the best music DVD I've seen.

Led Zeppelin is Page and Plant, all the rest are a dime a dozen

Are you serious?!
Bonham redefined rock drumming. Page and Plant credit John Paul Jones with being the creative genius of Zeppelin.
Page was a mediocre guitar player who had a knack for writing blues-based riffs in E. Plant simply stole a lot of their lyrics from old blues players and sang them 3 octaves higher

ha actually after posting that and on the way to the laundry room and was thinking of all the best drummers and what their bands would be without them.... so i guess i was wrong on that one
but i can say that about new bands

if by 'knack' you mean talent, then ok. If you mean blind luck, then wtf are you thinking? he had a 'knack' for writing some of the greatest licks ever??

well, I've heard people say that Jimmy Page plays like an old lady with a broken hand, but I think they're wrong.
John Paul Jones is a composer and an arranger, he's produced and arranged for a lot of other bands, notably for REM on " Automatic for the People ".

Well, they'll rake in the money from people who just want to say they saw Led Zeppelin live.
I wouldn't go see them even if I was given free tickets. Why would I want to see one of the worlds greatest bands tressed up and playing some golden oldies if not just for the bragging rights?
I've seen some great bands on reunion tours and such, and it just depresses me. I could be wrong, but seriously, what are the chances that this will be good?
I'd like to see the old guys give it a go, but I'm afraid it will be an abomination and a last ditch attempt to pad their retirement fund. Sorry for being so cynical. :icon8:

Page wasn't a mediocre guitar player, he just alternated between being brilliant and terrible. He wrote the riffs, though.

I'll call myself an honorary teenager (I'm 21) but I and a couple of friends would love to see them live - as well as lots of other bands from that generation

Still a chance i guess. I would love to see it happen even though its probably bs, Plant sounds nothing like he used to but it would still be something worth seeing imo.

Music wise, they will own, Plant prolly wont hit the highs like in his youth.
Did you see when Waters, and Pink Floyd reunited? Dudes are the same age and it was nothing short of spectacular.
