hi my copy of the game isnt legal but other wise is perfect its just no one opens there mouths i have no idea y does any one have a clue y this is doin it and more importantly how to stop it, its a russian copy if that helps..........probably doesnt :icon32:

i heard the russian copy is fucked. find the bulgarian copy and you should be good to go.

excellent advice, it won't work without the updates from steam. Took me ages to work this out for my illegal copy, mine was German if that helps?

i cant becos steam asks u to enter product code to do anything with one of there products i dont have a code...........game still plays

enter the code you got with the copy, it'll work

yea, it ask's for the product code for half-life 2... so enter the one that came with the game if its legit..

if not, i wouldent continue posting here.

they might pay you for finding this one too! so if they ask for your addy and etc, go a head and give it to them.

and is it normal for hl2 to work with out puttin in the cd cos this version does

the official forum fanboys might be annoyed you've got an illegal copy, i'd go ahead and ring valve directly using that phone number and tell them your problem

You need the unlocked files; find a friend who has the game.
