Photoshop Help - Designing a company logo

My company is celebrating 10 years of business in Europe and they've asked us to come up with a 10 yr anniversary logo based on our standard one - All colours/fonts must remain the same - I was thinking something based on the "X" around roman numerals... perhaps a large faded X behind the standard logo? Can anyone help?

use illustrator or freehand instead of photoshop
or just add lensflare
