I like it. Clearly it didn't get the 'holy shit' an xbox360 would hooked up to an HDTV, but I said my fair share of 'dude that's awesome'.
The real handy-cap right now is a lack of good games. I can't wait for games like Tiger Woods and Fight Night.

A great console without good games is like a fish without water, no?

Zelda is wicked, everything else I've played hasn't held my interest for more than an hour. I think it's full of potential, it just depends on the games released for it.

Super Monkey Ball is a lot of fun on the Wii. However I'm currently stuck on a stage thats REALLY pissing me off with the level of difficulty.

The best game on the Wii comes right in the bloody box. Wii Sports. Get a few mates together and its a BLAST.
After that, Zelda, which is fantastic.
Its a shame that the launch line up isn't overly amazing though

I'm finally getting component cables after work!!
My friend ordered a set from Nintendo but they sent him two by mistake. So I'm either paying $20 or $40 depending on whether he was charged for one or two.

Stupid name.
The controller would be better if it was in the shape of a tennis raquet or bat. The motion sensing controller has potential, it just needs more specificness and variety.
A motion sensing device shaped like a television remote control seems underplayed.
Haven't tried it, though.
Don't particularly want to.

Disregarding the fact that something can't have specificness AND variety...you have to use it before reviewing it. IMO its one of the better console controls I've used. It feels much more natural than holding some tiny bulk of buttons between my two hands.

You stupid dumb ass...
ITS ALSO A COMPLETE MIRROR WORLD OVER THE CUBES!!!
For some reason instead of just mirroring links model, they... erm... mirrored the entire world...?
(Zelda lore, Link has ALWAYS been left handed, but they changed him to right in the Wii version, because of the wiimote, lol)

i'm disappointed with online piece. i figured they would've had something similar to the xbox live service. the only online thing that works is buying shit from the virtual console area. go figure.
it's fun with a few friends over....wii sports is a blast and zelda is....well, zelda. good times
