I think it's supposed to be some kind of MMOFPS like planetside was. Not quite sure what they're going to do differently though.
I think there has to be no kind of fee for this type of game to be successful since you don't have any kind of armor or money to gain.

Yeah that is a MMO-FPS, but unlike Planetside it will concentrate on city battles, a little more CQB and a little less open grassland warfare.
It was featured on a PC Gamer issue a while back.

The game I played was basically Unreal Tournament. But there was also an annoying announcer.
