Apple released it this morning.

It's got a pretty cool album-cover browser in it. :icon14:

Talking about iTunes.. I wish they'd release update versions, rather than requiring a full 40mb download for a x.x.1 patch increase >:E

I'm thinking more for their bandwidth than my 40 or so second download time.

That would make too much sense.

This version is version 7, as opposed to the previous version 6.

Just ordered an 8gb nano. It's about time they bumped the capacity on those little buggers. :icon26:

I believe they are referring to the need to download the 40MB file to upgrade from something like 6.1 to 6.2

Yeah, I was just clarifying that this was a full version update as opposed to an incremental one, but I do agree with that. For what the incremental updates are, ~40MB seems a bit much. Still, the program file itself is ~20MB, so that's going to be at least the size of the download.

I'm looking forward to the "iTV" set-top device. They mentioned it today, and there are rumored product images on the web. It should be an interesting device. I hope it'll do things I'll find useful.

You can manually reset the things. There's a way to hard-reset it by holding the start and menu keys down for a few seconds, and then there's a way to press some keys in sequence to get the thing to completely erase and reset from the factory settings. This wipes your iPod clean, but gets it back running again if all else fails.

That did the trick, thank you sir :)

My beef with ITunes is that they bundle it with QuickTime. WHY is that? I liked it better when they were seperate downloads.

What if you don't want ITunes on your computer but you have to have Quicktime.

Ok, this is pissing me off. My start menu is very organized, iTunes goes under the "Media Players" folder in the All Programs menu, however I time I move it and then attempt to run it it reconfigures it and puts it in the base start menu, how do you stop this, does anyone know?
