TFT Monitors

Ok, so my CRT just doesn't cut it anymore, it ghosts more than most TFTs I've seen (belive it or not) so I'm in the money and looking for a good DVI gaming TFT.

So far I've seen the Samsung SyncMaster 205BW which looks very good for it's price.

Has anyone got any recommendations for a TFT with good image quality, no ghosting, at least 17" and under £260/$500?

Also, it must be DVI.

Thanks in advance

Maybe it's your actuall monitor cable that's causing the problem.

Con's: you dont have one.

And i would like to add, if i hadent have baught the Dell 2405FPW i would jump allover the 940BW.

Excellent, I think I'll be getting the 940BW based on what I've heard here and other review sites. And £160 ($320~) is a sweet price too! 3 year manufacturer's warranty too. I'm sold.

Thanks loads guys :)

I would get a 20 inch one (1600x1200) instead, vertical resolution is pretty low on a 19 inch widescreen. It's good if you watch a lot of movies I guess, but bad if you do any other computer stuff.

Hummm, i like it in Black.. :)

http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.ph ... cid=MT.983

Grudge: the 20' is 55 pounds more, thats somthing around ~$120 more.
check it out, http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=322266

and i dont agree with the whole bad for somputer stuff, when you compare it to a 19' CRT its the same beleve it or not, i like it, two of my friends that are now owners of it like it.

Anyway,
Tell me when you get it ilumo's, Give me YOUR two cents on it.
