Are there old motherboards that have hard drive size limitations?

Really REALLY old ones? Yes. I believe 10GB was the max for my old P2 mobo, then again, I only had a 3.97GB HD :icon32:

Just bought a 320GB hard drive.

Old BIOSs (think 486 and older) cannot handle drives > 504 MB natively. There are
some workarounds though.
