It's kind of a serious problem here.
Anyone has a relative working for PayPal that you could talk about it or know what to do about it?

I am willing to send you a compensating reward for it.
A cell. graphic card or even a hub.

Thank's
Pete
Hello my friends.

My brother and I, have purchased like 80 items on eBay
since 3 years. Camera, head phones, cells, computers
and artifact...

My brother has received a message from PayPal stipulating
that he owned them 804$ and that one buyer returned his
item and has not received his refund.

He talked with someone at PayPal for 45mnts. They cannot do anything.

Thing is, we never sold anything on eBay, just purchased things.
They have all his information correct and his account is now closed.
He has 10 days to pay.

BTW, he didn't use the link of the message because a few days
before I warned him about the fraud thing I read in this forum.

For my part. I once purchased an artifact valued at 1200$ for 120$.
Once it got here, UPS charged me 160$ for the duty.

Thanks
Pete

artifact?
who are you... indiana jones?
but seriously... if he gets no where with paypal... call a laywer.
legal papers tend to straighten these things out quicker than a customer service rep can.

don't forget to file a report with your local law enforcement agency.

I hate that. I also hate paypal, but it's most convenient so I keep using it.

Whats the item number? Paypal/Ebay are one company now, so they should be able to tie it to your account.

Was your account hacked? Anyone else now your password?

Did either of you fall prey via the 'email' sent to you and input your user/pass to verify your account information?

You know email doesn't email their customers, right? They have it included on the site now so people don't fall for the phishing scams.

My bet is he fell for the phishing scam, put in his account info, got banned and now has to pay the price for falling into the scam. Possibly. Most common scenario

Thanks my friends

My brother didn't use the link of Paypal, because I warned him
just a few days before that there was a scam with it...Thanks
to you my friends, I read about it on this forum.

As for the artifact, I will post you a picture of it as soon as I can
handle it. My website dont tolerate it. Last time Scourge had to do it for me.

Thanks to all of you for your informations.

Good evening my friends again.

Just forgot mentioning that even if you didn’t get
the solution to my problem but you have tried.

You will receive a compensating reward also.

Many of you are already on my list for it.

I think…Well, I know by now, that it will be more
costly to give you a compensative reward but what
the “heck” it will be some type of promotion at the
same time. Just be patient though. You won’t receive it tomorrow.
It’s not patented yet. You will receive 2 Space Chips.

Does this happen often with PayPal?

I just sent money via paypal for the first time today; signed up a couple weeks ago.

Is my shit safe as long as my computer is, or have there been hacks into the actual site?

PayPal and Ebay would not be as big and popular as they are today if it was that big of a risk, yeah shit happens, but for the most part you are fine.

As for answering your questions I can't, that's just how I see it.

As long as your computer is clean (no keyloggers) & you haven't clicked any paypal links from your email. Then it's pretty safe.

Get in contact with a lawyer and don't give shit to paypal, disconnect your accounts.
