Lots of interesting background and trivia!
But WTF, the Shambler wears a shaggy coat?

I always thought of it as a grotesque version of a Yeti, with white fur.

He said (Romero) that CY2A was one of his favourite maps. I remember playing on that map for months back in 97. There's a place on one of the towers (the RL tower I think) with a computer screen that says "tom?"... a reference to Tom Hall always camping the RL when he played that map with Romero etc.
Great map.
