I don't remember Sean Connery in that....unless I'm thinking of something else. Underwater flick, yeah? If it was,
The Abyss is so much better than that one.
p.s. i don't remember Sean Connery in that

lol
i knows the abyss was better but i got a thing for the old PROPER horror flicks
the new films aint horrors, theyre more suspense than anything, not letting you have the plot till the final minutes of the film
with these ones you know what it is, you know whats gunna happen and its nothing but mindless entertainment
'the thing' is one of my fav movies of all time
the only newish film i recall trying to do this is jeepers creepers and that turned out like a pile o tripe
that and i never watched this film since it was released in 89, which means i was 5 and the only reason why i remembered the name is because it was my uncles tape and he had porn scribbled out

hehe, i wasn't referring to underwater horror as much as i was referring to underwater based flicks that are fairly recent. i didn't care for either Leviathan or Deep Star Six. i don't consider them proper at all. The Thing is a classic horror flick in every sense of the word. today's "horror" flicks are riddled with so much CGI that it's no longer scary. the original Nightmare On Elm Street, The Exorcist, and perhaps Hellraiser (mostly gory, but good) are true classics, imo.

i no, i agree with you totally, just my taste extends a bit
like i remember when i was younger watching leviathon and deep star six and enjoyed it... wanted to watch it again because i havnt seen it since and i still enjoyed it. like i said i like mindless entertainment and things like this are the best for it
