question about firefox

how do you save a download as or save it into a folder if you know the url but it isnt linked. meaning you copied the link and have to paste it somehow but cant right click and save as.

Ehhh- Everyone gets that problem.... I usully just make a clickable link, or paste it into a download manager.

Create a text file on your desktop, and write html code with the link in it. Open the file with firefox/explorer and then do the right click thing.

for the harder ones to save, i usually just make a temp webpage in notepad with it as a link.

save as whatever.htm and open in browser.
rightclick to save as.

download WinGet (really good and lightweight download accelerator) and paste it there, or put it into google.
i used to do the html file thing until i discovered google a year ago :P

Im trying to save this file:

but google wont display it and it wont let me save it.

lol, it seems that in firefox you can even drag links into the download manager and it'll start downloading them:icon14:
