Anyone have suggestions against the common cold? My throat isn't sore, but I sneeze a lot and my nose is stuffed. I don't want to waste money on medecine, because my body will heal itself anyway, I was just wondering if there was anything I could do to accelerate the process.

So, does anyone have suggestions like hot tea with honey :icon3::icon14:

Zinc is supposed to really help, since it helps your body rebuild (for lack of a better understanding or explanation). I take it because I think it helps me...

IDIOT FUCKING BALD HICK

ToxicBug, anything you do to relieve the symptoms of the common cold will just make it last longer. The reason your nose blocks up is because the mucus membranes often get infected, and by closing off the nose, the temperature in your nasal passages is increased making it more difficult for invading viruses or bacteria to thrive. Just try and build up your immune system; get a lot of vitamin C, drink hot water with honey and lemon, gargle with hot salt water if you have a sore throat, and eat ginger or something.

I also have a wicked head cold, my head is throbbing and my ears are fucked along with the really stuffed and running nose. I have some vodka in the fridge and a massive physics SAC/test tomorrow morning.
