Moles of sodium acetate and moles of acetic acid needed to prepare 1 L of .1 M solution of pH 5?

How would I work this + show me. Thanks.

You need to prepare a buffer. The calculations are pretty complicated, but your teacher must've done an example of this, or just look in the book.

I never did anything as for as solutions at a certain pH, sorry.

The calculations are not that complicated, and yes, this is the kind of problem that you will find exactly laid out in any general chemistry text, and generally your instructor will do examples. So take the examples, and plug this information in instead.
