Yes, black people. The same demographic that comes up with names like Quadrevian, Quantis De'Tray and Quantis De'Troy.
I shit you not, I've seen all of those in news stories.

It's only evidence of their reading and writing skills.

I love how they try to sound french and sophisticated by adding "La" and "De" to their made-up names.

In the 1960s Blacks and Whites chose relatively similar first names for their children. Over a short period of time in the early 1970s, that pattern changed dramatically with most Blacks (particularly those living in racially isolated neighborhoods) adopting increasingly distinctive names, but a subset of Blacks actually moving toward more assimilating names. The patterns in the data appear most consistent with a model in which the rise of the Black Power movement influenced how Blacks perceived their identities. Among Blacks born in the last two decades, names provide a strong signal of socioeconomic status, which was not previously the case. We find, however, no negative relationship between having a distinctively Black name and later life outcomes after controlling for a child's circumstances at birth. © 2004 MIT Press

that happens with white people as well though. Parents naming their daughter "Jeszica" or something like that. why the fuck would you do that? the only thing you accomplished is the girls lifelong curse of spelling out her otherwise normal sounding name

Oh yeah you're black, right? Seriously, it's ridiculous.
I don't even understand why these names are so popular. If black people want to set themselves apart , why not use genuine African names?
It's none of my business really, I just happen to think it's cheesy and ridiculous.

One of my favorites has to be the twin girls named Regina and Vagina.
And of course whitey's not immune, either. There was some goober down here that had recorded every NASCAR race he could since he was a kid, and so he named his son "Winston Iroc Nascar Yarian".

I was in the gas station yesterday and saw this nasty white trash girl with a big number "3" tattooed on her leg with flames.

We're just making a little harmless fun about the quirks of the lesser races here and you have to bring up Hitler.

No, I'm not black.
American black people have trouble relating to African history as well as European/American history. They're complete fish out of water.
The social issues about their identity is way more complex than can be given justice to in one post.
