But acctually doesn't south korea allow teachers to punish students physically to some degree?

you try that shit in a classroom in dutcholand (or prolly any western world for that matter) and youd get severly beaten by every kid in the room, even those kids who'd normally pick on the girl.
i do remember one time when a gym teacher and a student were getting in to a severe fistfight.. but that was a mutual thing instead of one beating the other.
strangely the teacher didnt get fired yet the student got expelled for a month or so
