Subject: Here's how much the peace activists showing their appreciation for the US military

Four peace activists were kidnapped by insurgents and one was even murdered, his body dumped on the street.
Now the US military was able to locate where they were being kept, information gained from detained insurgents held by the US.
The US military carried out a raid and rescued the remaining three hostages.
Now these three men are free and being returned to their families.

They were originally in Iraq to protest the so called "injustice", and "occupation" of the US presence in Iraq.

Now thats gratitude for you.
Our soldiers risk their lives to save these people from certain death and these fools try to spin the news by describing their rescue
as 'being released'. As if the terrorists let them go.

Why do we bother trying to save idiots like these????

The three men are believed to have been rescued at 0800 local time (0500 GMT), following a week-long operation led by British troops and involving US and Canadian special forces.

It had followed "weeks and weeks of very careful work by military and coalition personnel in Iraq and many civilians as well", Mr Straw said.

"Oh, and what is the reality of war and the true nature of "our" enemy?"

The reality of war is that in order to win, one must support openly, and completely one's own side until victory over the enemy is achieved. That to openly criticize national leaders, one's army, culture, and national policies toward other nations during a war is to weaken that side's ability to make war against the enemy and is to give strength of will to the enemy during the conflict. It also adds legitimacy to the enemy's cause in the view of one's allies and one's enemy's allies. The reality of war is that war is as much a struggle between the will of two peoples and their cultural beliefs as it is a fight between warriors on the battlefield. Should one side looses either one, that side will loose the war.

That's why it is treasonous for elected officials to openly promote negative agendas which are insulting, and in direct opposition to our President's authority to wage war. Because to do so is to recant ones pledge to be a loyal citizen of this nation, and to put on in effect the uniform of the enemy who seeks to destroy us. The reality of war is that if one wants peace, and an end to war, one doesn't go strutting around alone in the enemy's territory trying to be 'friends' with them, because such a foolish action will most certainly not result in peace, but will result in the capture and death of that individual. Very likely it will also result in the injury or death of others who may attempt a rescue.

The true nature of our enemy is that 'they' hate freedom, hate our culture, hate our varied religious views, and hate the fact that God has blessed us more than them. And the absolute truth about our enemy is that they have decided to kill us all, and will not stop until we are all destroyed leaving only them.
It is also most obviously true that their objectives are not negotiable, not open to compromise and not debatable. They do not make war against us due to unfair trade deals, unjust treaties, aggressive invasion of their homeland with intent to enslave them, or for any other honorable, logical cause for war. Though I admit and accept that those very things have and likley continue to occurr. Nevertheless, such disputes are not at the core of this conflict.
Their thirst for blood is caused by a mental sickness, a madness which has infected their brains. This desire for death and destruction against the rest of humanity is a fever inside their hearts, burning them from inside with insane hatered for all others. Such a condition cannot be understood by rational thinking people, and cannot be cured with any medicine other than hot steel applied forcefully to the head. They are lunatics. They are a plague on our planet and have no redeeming human qualities in them. If we, and our children, are to survive we are left with only one difficult, but resolute solution; kill them first.
Because they clearly intend to kill us off completely.

By 'they', I'm referring to those people around the world who believe that a radical, intolerant interpretation of Islam, and the holy Quran, justifies them to murder and enslave everyone else on Earth who do not believe as they do. That they are called by God to conquer the world through violence and the indiscriminate killing of random people, even their own kind, and institute a single worldwide utopian empire based on their particularly cruel version of Islam.

Why so many people in this country fail to comprehend and take to heart the above statements regarding our current situation in the world astonishes me greatly. Does this clear things up?
