Saw some crazy shit today. Can't say too much because of NDAs but I can say that the DS has some crazy games coming out in genres you would never expect. Also got to see some PS3 stuff behind closed doors. There's rumors that they may have some exclusive PS3 demos at the Sony party in a few minutes and I managed to get an invite. I'll update later if anyone cares.

Would be nice to see a PS3 demo running on actual PS3 hardware.

He's a secret gaming agent, one of the very best.
You're lucky he couldn't tell you anything more, otherwise he might have to silence you.

yknow, the amount of duckies didnt impress me. what impressed me was that the water actually had volume, and he could theoratically remove all the water from the tub one glass a time.
thats more a tech thing than a gfx thing, and quite cool too

Hmm... Isn't that a product of the Havok licenced physics... In other words, those duckies and that water could be on any platform, ps3, 360, PC, doesn't matter.
Rubber duckies and water are not exclusive are they

It's funny that people are joking about rubber duckies because one of the demos was simply two balls bouncing. And yes, it was running off of the actual PS3 hardware.
As for my job, I work for a business management firm who represents a bunch of clients who are involved in the interactive entertainment industry. Everything from development right through to art outsourcing, etc.
I honestly wish I could say loads about the stuff I've seen and some of the stuff our guys will be doing but I honestly can't. Everything is covered by NDAs and if I broke them I would get worse than fired. There's some stuff that is perfetly fine to talk about because it was right out on the show floor. Nvidia showing their new stuff, NDS Lite, new motion cap tech, etc. I've got a ton of pics on my phone and I'll try to upload them once I get a cord.
The Sony party was fucking NUTS. They had robot wars taking place in one corner. All the booze you could drink, all the food you can eat, 2 DJs, dancers, etc. It was a fucking sausage party though, I'd say 20-1 guy/girl ratio, but I was with a woman so I didnt look like a freak. All in all quite the experience so far. One more day and I finally get to head home, I can't fucking wait.
