8 days of sinus headaches...

Going to the doctor later this morning. Pressure right above the left eye. Hard to focus with that eye. I haven't had headaches like this since I was a kid. It got so bad this past weekend I took a vicodin that my wife had from an old prescription. Nothing else even touches the pain, 2 darvocets did nothing. Migraine level pain. The rapid changes in weather haven't helped, either.
Fuck this is annoying.

I've had some serious sinus problems the last 2 weeks too.
I've been taking decongestants with the occasional antihistamine for about the past 7 days, all thanks to the schizophrenic weather.
Week before last it was below freezing at night. Last week the high was in the 70's all week, and got up to 86 on Sunday. Yesterday, massive thunderstorms and a front moving in, and the temp was below 40 last night.
I've been sick for nearly 2 weeks. Early last week I had all the symptoms of the flu. Since I never get the flu (or sick at all for that matter), I contend I must have had the bird flu and fought it off bravely.

I've been having that for the last couple of weeks too. I haven't pussied out and taken a bunch of pills though, instead I weathered it out like a man.

Yea, last time I did that the stuff just hung around up in my sinus cavities until it turned into a sinus infection.
I'll pass on having that again.
Hell, I might still get one anyway. =\

Augmentin (sp?) ftw. I'll pickup the prescription this afternoon. That should kill the infection pretty quickly.
I took it like a man for 5 days, but when the pain got so bad over the weekend that I couldn't function, I knew it was time to see the doc.

I hope not. And I doubt it. We bought the house new and have never had any sort of water damage.

About the same. Just a "normal" sinus infection after I got a cold from my daughter.
Work is also a new building.

Well, the building isn't brand new. We've been here just over 3 years now.
And the lil one is only 14 months old, not in school or day care yet. I think she got it from licking the push bar on a shopping cart. Then I got it from her and it developed in to a full sinus infection on me because I'm an idiot and don't get enough sleep even when I'm sick.
