I love it when they say "HD Ready" when it doesn't support 1080i.
They should really say "720p Ready".

Still, nice purchase DB. I'll be interested to see what you say about the picture whilst watching normal telly on it.

It supports it..its just scaled down. Most plasmas and lcd have a native res of 1366 x 768. In fact..look at their 50" plasma..same res. When I was looking for mine thats all I saw.

nice tv btw.

How can having a cinema screen in your den look bad though? I say if it's a flat panel, the bigger the better.

Personally, I just can't afford a big one. :icon8:

heh i must have missed it then :D

doombrain, how can a larger flatpanel be bad? I would much rather have a larger one, only because my dad has a 52" plasma and a 50" lcd, both look outstanding

As we don't generally get HDTV here then viewing TV on large screens doesn't look great.

I stole a projector from work, it's fucking awesome except that you can't use it when it's bright, but then what kind of filth plays games when it's nice out

You filthy fucking theif, they should skewer your ass for that.

In any case, i was just thinking of 'dissapearing' my headset. It's of superior quality, and my own headset thing is broken (i stepped on it this weekend).

I'm on a media centre so i'm all HD ready and MS are selling the HD-DVD add-on later this year.
