Went out to Busch Gardens this weekend and took some pictures..

Yes, Freakyloins I screw animals for a living.

Whitebalance seems a bit too high still... Still haven't figured out the best setting just yet still using auto..

hey white balence is setting the camera to reconize white as white.

not blue white or magenta white.

but when i was saying blown whites, i meant that loss of detail in the whites from slight overexposure .

so is the contrast cranked on that cam?

i say jus use the exposure compensation to expose slightly less,

a couple tiks down ey

Nice shots.

I thought if you shot in RAW then white balance doesn't count- so you can adjust it later.

Here's my sorry ass attempt at photographing one of the geese that live near my house:

That evil bastard hissed and lunged at me like there was no tomorrow. He had no faith in humanity at all.

I see them as a living breathing early warning system. When they start dropping like flies, i'll know something is up. :icon14:

yeah just some cheap border psd I added, will probably remove it though and just use a white outline and black border...

You could always just forego the border all together...

Have you tried submitting these to a picture library? You could get a few bucks for them as they're pretty decent shots (better than some of the crap I've seen in photo libraries). Might be worth investigating if you're getting into the habbit of taking lots of photos.
