Anyone know how to grab a couple frames from a .wmv file?

I need a couple still shots for a report I'm writing, can't find them on the web, but they're right there in this video clip I've got.

open it with mediaplayer classic.

the video accel trick works too, no need to install fraps or mediaclassic

Hrrrm, fraps didn't work and I don't have mediaplayer classic.

In the options there should be a performance tab. Set the hardware acceleration slide to none, then you can take screenshots of the video.
Also, irfanview is a great program that can display images or video clips. There is an option to extract the frames of the clip and you can also screenshot.
