Is there a lan party that fits my description?

A lan dedicated to classic pc games with tourneys for the classics? Like One Must Fall tourney and QuakeWorld and Duke3D tourneys. And everyone there plays all the old games on a lan and all have fun with games from the shareware age. Or am I dreaming?

You'll be hard-pressed enough to find a sizeable group of individuals who share your interests.
There are a lot of people in the FPS scene who have a fondness for Quake 1 and other older FPS titles, but the games they're fond of differs between each one.
Couple this with it being hard to get people to play a game they're not into on-demand, and it makes what you're looking for an unlikely occurance. Which is a shame.
Some kind of global pickup network spanning all multiplayer games would make your situation infinitely more enjoyable.

I haven't gone through this but I remembered this site from ages ago.

We run monthly LAN parties and are organizing an annual, 24 hour LAN party with sponsors and prizes. We usually play newer titles, but we're not opposed to playing older stuff.

I'm not mocking here but it's an important question:
Who do you play these games with online? Can you even find enough people online to play the games? If not, getting people into the same physical location and playing the same games isn't going to happen if those people don't exist in the first place.
Every other aspect of organising and executing the LAN are simple compared to this obstacle you face.

Friends? Yes. Friends interested in games and lans? No.
