So I know you can plug your camera into one of the usb ports and get your pictures...I also saw that you can transfer network config via a usb flash drive. Does anyone know if you can plug in a regular external usb harddrive?

Not that i know off...

BUT...

I HAVE pluged in a USB pen drive, and i HAVE got my PSP plugged in and got the media off that, so its possible I'm sure. Its probably possible to just plug it in, because as i say, my USB pen drive works fine.

you can connect a drive, but you cant store xbox stuff on it since it needs to be formatted in xboxy filesystem.
you can read crap from it though just like it would of an ipod or camera

hmm maybe you can format it through the dashboard, not sure

Looks like one can only be used for read only.
