Is it even possible? :icon28:

Trying to put up a lamp here, but my ceiling seems to be made of diamond.

You may be drilling into a concrete slab. :olo:

it is possible, but there might be a few things holding you back

weak drill. yes, even if you have a twohanded device there if might not be enough.

secondly theres the fun of "pebbles" and "tentacles" which youll never get through in your lifetime.

the second problem is loads of fun and means you simply need to find another spot :icon14:

Splish, did you ever get it fixed or did ceiling fall on you and that is why you haven't posted again?

I hope it worked!

Here's what I used:

Edit: It actually has this "hammering" function you spoke of
plus it looks totally awesome

Those things barely drill wood adequately.

bs

My parents have a proper drill, two handed and everything, And the wireless thingie is not that much weaker. If it has a (very) fresh battery, that is.

it may have an hammering functing but that doesnt mean its strong enough.
i use one of those mostly for drilling fine wood and screwing/unscrewing.

also, when it has a fresh battery it might spin as fast but thats not the same as strength :l

You're trying to put up a mirror on your ceiling aren't you?

haha :D

I have one very similar to yours Splish, and was just able to sort of scratch the wall.... eventually i borrowed my dad's drill, that did the job.

Give it up. You're not going to talk me into believing my drill doesn't work, when, in fact, it just worked fine.

listen to Tim the Toolman here people. he knows his drills from his holes

And now for something completely different:

How hard is it to make a firm statement about the color of something?
Why would you put something on eBay and then say "It will probably be blue." (I'm not making this up)

I wrote a message to confirm the color and the cunt doesn't write back.

maybe he has 10 of them in different colors, all sealed inside so hes not sure what the color actually is?

Maybe whatever it is looks a different color under different lighting?

So she should open them. I'd rather have an opened package then a pink birdcage.

where do you live? if you're not in the US I would have no idea where to start, it all depens on how the building is constructed.

also what is it you're putting up? you might need to find an area with a crossbeam so you can actualy mount something on it, if you're just playing around with sheetrock you'll get yourself in trouble
