Being able to tie tab scrolling to the side to side action on the scroll wheel of a mouse ( if you have this functionality. )
Would just take it up a notch, dont you think ?

Yeah good idea. You know what else would be cool is the ability to tile tabs.

You could hit, lets say, ctrl-alt-t and it would equally tile all your tabs side-by-side. So if you had four tabs the screen would be split into fourths. Would be good for comparing things or cross referneces. Or even keeping forums on an autorefresh in the corner.
Windows Vista is supposedly going to get tiling applications finally but I'm not holding my breath.

This extension requires 1.5.0 or higher. It uses functions which are not avaliable in 1.0.7

1.5 was a load of shite on my machine. I'm trying out 1.5.1 though.

Oh yea i know what you mean. I think opera does that. If i had a bigger monitor that would probably be sweet.
Still think tabing tid to the side to side motion would be quicker. There is enough info in the tab to generaly know whats where and doing a search is just cntrl + t then tab and bam off ya go. Its just so fast and fluent in motion then going and open another browser. I dont know how the tab system works in IE 7 though.
Not exactly motivated to mess with it.

I tab-scroll on my mac with USB Overdrive and an MX700. It's very useful. I would expect there to be a way to do it on a windows machine.

Maxthon, Restore window, for each tab, move them, leave them be.. those 4 tabs will be in those 4 spots until you maximize them..

everyone made a huge fanfare when IE introduced this / FF copied it, but it seems pretty useless to me. How often is anyone going to need multiple illegibly small windows open?

They aren't illegibly small at higher resolutions or with huge monitors. I'm sure people building webpages or something similar would like it.

I'm SO over Maxthon. :icon26: Used it for a long time and liked it, but FF + extensions like BBCode, Cookieculler, Tab Mix Plus, etc. made my browsing so much easier. Feels much more solid somehow.
