Once a year just before winter is a good time to change them,, even if they don't need to be changed.

yar. i need to change the wipers on my car, they've got two years on them and i live in a place where if it isn't raining then it will be in about 20 minutes.
i'm actually planning a massive overhaul for my car. i've been doing a few things here and there that don't cost too much like replacing filters and belts and wutnot. but now i'm planning on putting away extra cash to really get things in good working order. probably the most spendy is the new paint job i'm planning on.
i'd be weary of that

rain-x is superb until you get lazy and stop applying it. it actually get's harder to see when that shit starts wearing off. from what i understand there's better stuff out there than rain-x. but in all honestly a nice pair of tefflon blades will do more than a good enough job.

That rain-x stuff here comes in a bottle (200ml I think) and you apply to the windows and let dry then buff/chamois off.
Great stuff, if you haven't tied it :icon14:
You won't need wipers in some rain conditions, it just streams off.

New wipers are like new tires... they are magnificent for a short while, but they quickly become just as unspectacular as the old ones.
