Due to extremely limited stock availability, the Xbox 360 will be in short supply until June 2006.

A mate checked in his local Gam, they had a sign up saying they were out of stock but he asked them and they said they had a couple hidden out the back. Could try turning on the charm and asking in a few places.

Damn, theres still 360 shortages? I am absolutely positively gonna pre-order the PS3 to avoid all this crap... damn consumers.

And you think that helped with the 360? I took my friend two months to get his pre-ordered 360 from eb. Make sure you're one of the very first to pre-order and you may be able to get one on release day.

To those who want to piss and moan -
What's inherently wrong with consoles? For pure entertainment purposes, I'd rather be relaxing on the couch playing a console on a nice HDTV with the surround sound than I would be sitting in front of a computer monitor - regardless of how pretty the setup is.
Being a PC fanboy is no different than being a console fanboy (and nothing is worse than the console types who steadfastly refuse to try another console other than their favorite one because everything else "sucks".)
Each gaming platform has its ups and downs, and that's why most people play different games on each one - because they are taking advantage of the positives of each.

the premium shortage is gone here in dutcholand. most stores get about 2 or 3 of them a week so if you reserve bob's your uncle
