Nintendo announced this morning that a web browser based on Opera for the DS is forthcoming, and also revealed an upcoming TV tuner attachment for pulling in over-the-air broadcasts. Very few details are known about either product at this point, although Nintendo has said that the browser will start shipping in June for around $32. Neither a price nor a release date have been mentioned for the tuner. Follow the "Read" link for more pics...
Dunno why they didn't go for Mozilla, but Opera should do.
The TV tuner should be good

with the touch/dual screen thing, i imagine they can come up with something good and intuitive thatll ease the small screen pain.

Looks like the top screen can be used to zoom on parts of a site with the stylus. I always thought browsing the web on a portable was more of a gimmick, I've prolly used the psp to browse less than 10 times, haven't bothered with it in a while... just seems like a little novelty to me that tends to wear off pretty fast.

Also the pricing seems kinda sucky, looks like nintendo wants to pinch every penny out of you guys, I mean opera is a free browser on pc, if anything it would be a nice gesture on nintendos side if they gave this thing away for free, as a thanks to all the ds-loyalists.

Its an extra, i.e. probably a cart service. Nintendo give more than enough away for free to the gamer
Yeah its free, and yeah its built into the PSP too. But the DS was never supposed to do this kind of stuff anyways, so you gotta give them some credit
