Anyone like watching them? There are some good ones here: http://bisqwit.iki.fi/nesvideos/

If you enjoyed playing super mario 64 way back then, taking your time, you should watch this: http://bisqwit.iki.fi/nesvideos/movies.cgi?id=436

That guy destroys that game in and out. :D

Yeah, most of them are. Frame slow-down, etc. But getting good runs even with TA is a difficult feat. Most of the people do it like that just to achieve the best possible times and it makes the video look a lot better with tricks, jumps, and taking advantage of bugs etc. Without using some kind of cheat you would usually die too often and wouldn't get the best times

getting the best times include not dying, obviously. look i completed the game in 5 seconds! ofcourse i had god mode on, made state-saves every .01 seconds and used level skip, but its the fastest time to date !!1one

I know a lot of people are pretty looserish for doing all that just for a game, but I think the end result is a bit fun to watch, see the sm64 video :>

I really enjoyed one I saw for Q2. Not assisted or cheated in any way.

They just planned very well when to use power-ups etc and did part for part, not in one go. So if they found a way to do a new part better than their previous record, they started only that part with the items, ammo etc. that they ended the previous part with.
