Maybe someone knows this

For the past 3 days or so I've had this cough, it doesn't hurt but it doesn't go away and I can't cough fully (I don't know how to describe it exactly, it's like I try to cough because I fell like coughing but I never get a satisfying relief after coughing)

When I breath very deep I feel like coughing, I don't have any other symptoms, I feel great and absolulety nothing else.

I have been drinking tea, hot milk with honey, honey lemon halls candy (ate about a small bag of them in 2 days), still it feels the same.

I'm too lazy too go to the doctor and besides I have a bunch of other crap to do in the next couple of days, so I was wondering if anyone knows what the hell I have. I was really sick about 3 weeks ago for about a week, but I thought I fully recovered from that. Any ideas?

I knew a girl who developed the same problem but I'm not sure what would help.

Do you smoke or have asthma?

I've had something like that before and it was because I was coughing so much I was injuring my throat. It only stopped when I stopped myself from coughing and just held back the urge to cough. I think the mucus that builds up back there is trying to heal you, and you ruin it by coughing the mucus up.

And whatever I can't cough out, feels like it's in my throat and not in my chest/lung area.

I've also taken some benylin dry cough medicine and it gives me instant relief for like 20 min.

It means you aint sucking enough cawk.

Suck a few more and swallow this time. If that dont remedy it try deep throating. That will surely unclog your pipes.

It feels like something is at the back of my throat but I can't cought it out. I don't think it has anything to do with breathing problem or whatever.

Now that you mention it in more detail, that's exactly what it felt like to me. See my above post. :)

does it feel like something is physically there? or simply a sensation of that tingling that spurs the reflex to cough?

sorta like how when you get that tingling in your nose you need to sneeze, but you don't actually feel a thing in your nose.

it could be bronchitis.. if it lasts over 1 week, see a DR. because its not gonna go away on its own.

the aids, obviously - or a stray pube that's gotten knotted around your tonsils.

try gargling with TCP, that kills a lot of stuff.

No nothing is physically there, it's just a sensation I get of tingling.
