In light of all the people getting screwed lately, I figured I would add my story to the pile. The goal for the last year has been get my self ready to start house hunting in March. Finally being able to pay off all my credit card balances, and getting ready to start house hunting this month I get hit with a doozie. We're getting sued for $15K, hopefully we can settle out of court, if not I'm guessing it could be over $20K by the time all is said and done...
I'm glad we have a nice apartment, cause it looks like we will be there for a while...

Ouch. Why are you being sued?

And I'm on nearly the same plan. I've been getting rid of debt and saving, hoping to be ready to buy in May. But car problems, holidays, etc have thrown me off my goal and I'm starting to wonder if I'm going to have to rent for another few months to catch back up.
Not that there is anything wrong with the place I'm in now, but it's so much money just being thrown away.

I think she forgot in the sense that she hoped it would go away. She told me last night while we were laying in bed.
I hate conversations that start with "Please don't get mad at me, I did something really bad"
The sad part is I was a little excided, I figured she was going to tell me she was pregnant. I knew forgot to refill her BC Perscription. Even though we talked about waiting I was happy, but then she blurted that out and I was uhhhhh surprised.
